  • I mostly knit summer garments due to living in FL. Your tonight top and mini mock are on my list to knit. Thanks for the video.
  • I knit "summer garments" mostly to wear during the other 3 seasons in the year as layering pieces! Thanks for sharing your makes and thought process!

I wear short sleeve wool sweaters all year, but especially in summer. My office is always cold so I like the wool to keep me a little warmer at work. I also tend to run cold, so I find wool generally just as comfortable as cotton.

The garder tank, maybe do the back side of stockinette. It's similar enough and easier lol just flip it inside out before doing the finishes.

I LOVE fall knitting. I usually have at least one sweater on my needles all year round. However, i also enjoy knitting summer garments or tote bags during the hotter months. I have the Remi Camisole (tank) on my short list to knit, hopefully this summer. I will make mine in a creamy neutral.

I don’t wear my summer garments outside of summer but that’s because our season is extremely humid and high temps—I need the cooling fibers then! But I haven’t tried Truboo yet and I am very intrigued by the night shirt idea😍
  • I knit with fingering and sport weight yarn, because I live in the mid south, and it’s VERY HOT. It doesn’t get hot enough, long enough to spend the time and money using heavier weight yarns.

“Do I have a dropped stitch?” Had my ❤stop 😂

Try knitting some shorts to go with your pj top. I find then fun to make. I will have to try the tru boo yarn and the Jesse Maed mock tank. Thank you!

summer lasts about 8 weeks where I live so I knit a few summer tops but mostly fall/winter items

Hi! Lovely podcast :) For the Tolsta tee yarn; in my experience merino with a somewhat higher micron count (how fine the fibers are) can be somewhat itchy. I've used one with 28 micron at some point that was itchy on me.

You look so pretty in the purple top - you should wear it more often.
  • @Kera.S.
I'm knitting a ranunculus to have for an event in October. It's Fingering weight so not horrible. But I do love knitting sweaters no matter when.
  • @bayareaknitter
I love knitting fall and winter items all year round. Although this summer has been a bit challenging here in Vegas! 🥵🧶

If the navy blue top fabric resulted in a dense fabric, has it partially felted after washing with the obvious upward shrinkage?

I think a camisole is an English term and a tank top is an American term
