I love the fact that Christine put the reporter into place by making his reference to them as being ladies and musicians instead of girls just being backup singers. These two are hugely different and recognized.
  • Christine's humor " I had already been in the band as a lady.. "😅 she was so clever and funny naturally.. Fleetwood Mac is one of the classiest rock bands of all time. One of the best rock n roll bands of all time.😊 legendary. Nice to see the 3 lead singers and all 3 primary writers interviewed back in 1977, during their legendary meteoric rise while on tour for Rumours. Love seeing their sophistication here.

    Christine McVie is pure class.

Three things that stand out for me: 1. They were so young here. 2. Reporters were asking same stupid questions like today. 3. Stevie and Lindsey still looked happy and in harmony together.
  • Rest in Peace CHRISTINE MCVIE, she is flying to Heaven as the Songbird that she is x!

I love Christine's speaking voice. It seems so low and serious, and then she sings and it's this beautiful lilt. All three of these people are amazing.

All class and wit! Did you see how Christie and Stevie handles that BS question! Love it!
  • @RedHotMessResell
Stevie is so amused by Christine shoving that question back into that reporter’s face. 😂😂😂 I love it. This is prior to media training and them just acting whatever way they wanted. I love it

What Stevie was saying was that her & Christine are main cogs in the FM machinery. And she's right.

Happier times. Bless Christine's heart of gold she was the glue that saved the band from self destruction.
  • Crikey, this is literally the first time that I have EVER seen Stevie Nicks happy and smiling.
  • Rest in peace Christine Mcvie you will never be forgotten 😢

As I have grown older I appreciate Christine's music more ......I have been a Mac fan since the early 70's.
  • Love this interview, for me Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie are the true iconic legendary queens, songstresses and magical beauty ethereal rock and roll goddesses of Fleetwood Mac. Without them, it wouldn’t have been the special band it was. She is now flying high with the spirits, May she gift them with her cool personality and voice. Two of my fave female songwriters as well. ❤♥️😍🥰😘🤩 🌟 ✨ 🎵 🎶 🎹 🎼 👑💎⚜️ 🎙️ 🎤

This is rock and roll history. Future generations will be paying to watch this. I'm 58 and I have never seen this footage. I never knew this existed. Fleetwood Mac is a historical part of rock history. Peter Green was a genius. A true pioneer of his time. Damn this is amazing.

Stevie Nicks so awesome ,, always so strikingly foreign and original in her creativity ...and Christine McVie pure honest soul and beautiful...I wish female artists or male for that matter these days could even have a fingernail of integrity what these 2 have
  • The 2 ladies MADE THE BAND FANTASTIC! The audiences craved Christine & Stevie because of their softness, subtle sounds, harmonies, intensity, & overall moderating influences. If there were only guys -- the sound would never have blossomed. It would have been too harsh. I LOVE FLEETWOOD MAC! * Cav *
