In most seasons of the show (Agito onwards), Riders aren't typically a team, rather working solo or with unpowered people. Usually Riders will end up working together because of a common goal or enemy. There are a few exceptions, of course, but this applies for the most part.

In answer to why the bad guys explode when kicked? The answer is energy transference. A large charge of power plus the kinetic force from the actual kick gets injected into the bad guys body which runs rampant until kaboom!

Kamen Riders are predominantly solo heroes. Most endup having partners eventually, but even then its more of a collection of solo heroes that works together often. Some do pretty much become a team tho (Drive, Mach, and Chaser is thr first to come to my head.)

30:57 A lot of people discounted Kamen Rider Gaim as silly due to the fruit theme, thinking since it's not your usual sci-fi/action/fantasy theme it's gonna be stupid. Turned out it had one of the best story lines, being dark and serious.

The belt they wear is important. Usually their transformation device goes there or interacts with it to activate the transformation, also, kicks make monsters blow up cause they are usually robots though the kick also releases a lot of energy that makes them blow up, and yes. Kicks then to be their most powerful attacks, and since they are finishers they usually have to beat them up a bit or a lot before they finish them up with their kicks

The voice for Kamen Rider W's belt and most of the Gaia Memories is the same voice for Zaraki Kenpachi from Bleach anime. His voice is everywhere kinda in commercials and anime. The voice for Emperor Charles Britannia in Code Geass also voices Deneb, a character in Den-O with the time train. He also voices some of the belts in Kamen Rider Build. The voice for Emiya Kiritsugu from the Fate series is also the voice of some belts and transformation items in Kamen Rider Zi-O. The actor for Kamen Rider Fourze (astronaut/rocket) has played Kurosaki Ichigo in the live action Bleach movie in Japan. Tons of great actors and voice actors. Little trivia, the actor for the character Tsukasa (Kamen Rider Decade) originally tried to be an actor for the Super Sentai but ended up with Kamen Rider. He's also returned as Kamen Rider Decade in the Zi-O season, as well as in these 5 minute episode series called "Sentika F8ABA6 Jisariz"

Fun fact: the first kamen rider was hospitalized because of a stunt, and got replaced by another kamen rider named "Kamen Rider Nigou"

This whole franchise has a “Imagine if the Silver Age didn’t die but adapted to the times and keeps the heroic spirit of the protagonists true to themselves” it never apologizes for being silly or weird and that is the reason fans love it, it has something that the Big Two abandoned long ago to chase casuals and edgelords, making superheroes fun for everyone!

I'm glad to see your interest in Kamen Rider! Nearly every Rider have more than one finisher! It's just that the kick their main finisher because of tradition! Also the more modern riders have different forms. Specifically, they have Upgrade, Super, and Final Forms (or at the very least these are the main categories for forms) If you're interested, the video called "Every Single Kamen Rider Upgrade/Super/Final Form with Finishers (1971 - Geats)" by the channel, A Dumb Bland Shirt that highlights those forms. However it's a 4+ hour video so you could perhaps react to it in parts.🤷 and one more thing, the reason why it's so long is because it includes every single Kamen Rider that can change into different forms, not just the primary riders
