Published 2024-06-27
They just keep getting better. The H the handheld I said was the best starter device now has a successor even better than before 4" 4:3 IPS display, Stacked shoulder buttons, better button placement, more comfy, and PORTS!! This is one you don't want to miss.

  • Blue is my favorite. It's beautiful. The black buttons, joysticks, bumpers and triggers make for a great contrast.

2:47 I actually hope we don't get TMNT, Stardew Valley and other ports out of the box. Pirating ROMs is fine, the developer wouldn't get any money if you bought the disk/cartridge/etc from a reseller. Pirating games which are being sold right now is literally taking money from developers.

I spent €45 to get my first emulation device, the miyoo mini plus a few months ago, but I'd be so interested in getting this one too. If it's under €70 I can see myself getting one in black :)
  • Glad they are releasing this.... I already have the Plus and The SP versions, but have held off from buying the RG35XX H, ... Now for certain the RG40XXH will be on my shopping list, the chipset is adequate for me as I mostly play PS1 and 16bit games, so that 4" screen is perfect, with the comfort of good ergonomics...

The handlheld I'd like to see is a fat GB like vertical model with a 4inch screen (basically a fatter 35xx+). In the mreantime, this 40xx H is probably the one I want to get if my 35xx+ dies. I look forward to your review once it gets released.

Hey anbernic, trimui made their handheld a while back. Anberni: hold my 🍻

Another great video Javi. Right when I completed my collection all the 35xx, this one shows up. To be honest, I looks amazing. I'm not that convinced though. I would prefer a better chip and than a bigger screen. And yeah, I would be great to play at least some basic ps2 games. The price needs to make sense. This is where if they price it closer to the S2, I would get that one instead. Even at 80 bucks, I would want a device that will allow me to add more x resolution, or add shaders without hiccups. Maybe I'm asking too much. LOL I guess because I'm familiar with this chip already. We'll see. Keeping my fingers crossed. Otherwise, I'm happy with the 35xxh and its portability.

Stacked shoulders. Nice The screen will most likely be like the one on the RG-ARC which was 4inch 640x480. IMO, the one I had was fine as far as pixel density.
  • Looking forward to this device, i can see this one being over a £100
  • @IMZ44
Suppose the price is marked down to 70 or 80 bucks. I'll happily buy it over the 405m.

hrm... I wonder.... If psp emulation will advance enough within mu os to make this really attractive for that. I also wonder if it's gonna have a touch screen for ds games. Would be nice to have something to replace the trimui smart pro as the cheap way to play psp games, imo. switch sticks aside.
  • @overoula
if they price is max 80 this will sell good
  • @Nexxraven
Did they hint a release date? I thought the SP with MuOS was the best thing since sliced bread. A larger screen is a big yes in my book.
  • @cocodude1029
So with this form factor will it beat the RGB 30 in popularity?
  • blue is my fav colour but that blue doesn't look like a good pick for me I think I'm gonna get the black or grey if its under 100 dollars I may get it
  • I put on noise-cancelling earphones and I still couldn't hear the clickiness in your vid.
  • @CellPhish
Sachi Bimbs. This is a more powerful TrimUI Smart Pro
