I had the opportunity to chat with Dr. Michael Greger and ask him some questions. We talk about about soy, testosterone, cholesterol, nightshades, omega 3s, seitan and much more! As usual he gave some great answers.

Let me know what you thought of the interview down below! Should I get him on the channel again? I definitely have lots more questions for him as I am sure you do too!

Dr. Greger may have helped save my life. His book ‘How not to die’ was recommended to me by my doctor after it was discovered I had some blockage in 3 arteries. I completely changed my diet & life after barely reading a chapter. And his book ultimately led me to your channel which continues to inspire and educate me. Thank you 🙏🏻

❤️ Dr. Greger. Went to a seminar at Kaiser about plant based eating, walked out never eating meat/dairy again, read his book….no more meds. Thanks again Dr. Greger.
  • You know it’s a great collaboration when 30 min seems like 10. I can’t wait for the next interview and more of your wonderful recipes
  • Dr. Greger is my go to guy. When plant based peeps disagree on nutrition, he's where I go for the final word.
  • Excellent! I've been wanting a Simnett and Greger collaboration for years!

I love Dr. Greger so so much. He was the reason for me to go wfpb and Earthling Ed was the reason I became a vegan.

  • I watch Dr. Greger probably every day and I've watched your videos over and over again. You guys are tops in my vegan book. YES, please interview him again. Thanks! 🌟 Hey while I'm thinking about, another fave is Rose Lee, Cheap Lazy Vegan, from Calgary!

Two of my favourite people talking - that makes this a must-watch episode! (They all are, Derek, it's just an expression!) How brilliant is this! I love that the daily dozen app is free, that is an incredible little app that really helps us eat better.

Thanks for introducing me to Dr. Gregor! Love that he's doing a walking interview. I've been a vegetarian for almost 40 years and wish I had the internet resources to guide me at the start of the journey. I had to become an armchair nutritionist (I read a lot of books) for my own sake. When I gave birth to my second child, I was such an oddity that the hospital nutritionist brought her intern to visit me and ask why I didn't have an iron deficiency. Now that I'm older, I'm encountering new challenges and am grateful for the resources like yourself and Dr. Gregor. I'll definitely read the book and keep watching for great ideas. I bought an airfryer because of one of your videos and LOVE it! Thank you!

Listened to the audio book version of How Not to Die and liked it so much that I followed it up with How Not to Diet even though I’m pretty skinny. Oh my gosh, what an incredible wealth of knowledge in these two books!! Switching to eating a mostly whole food plant based diet improved my health dramatically, and I love hearing the honest science behind it. So glad to hear Dr. Greger is releasing another book! I’ll be pre-ordering for sure.
