So glad things are finally starting to happen for you. The sooner your pain is sorted the better. I can't imagine how awful it is to be in that level of pain and be getting so little sleep too. Hopefully not much longer now 😊

From someone else with spinal issues I really feel for you mate. Got similar sounding private health insurance system here in Australia too thank goodness. Avoiding surgery here for as long as I can and I look forward to hearing how you go. Look after yourself mate. We really are lucky in first world countries hey, just like you say.

Kip I’m not sure if you’re aware but it is visible that you are struggling with this. It’s plain on your face. Pain takes it toll! This is pretty good news in the grand scheme, I hope they can address your issue asap.

I will wish you all the best with your MRI scan, hope it’s feet first, I went in twice head first, horrible, and you always get an itch that you need to scratch😂. I really hope your surgery works, some people are great with it and never have any problems, sadly I wasn’t. Please keep us informed. Kind regards. Johnny

Good to hear there's some light at the end of this dark tunnel. The sad thing that comes out of this is just how much the NHS needs a review. Somehow it's lost its way and hasn't been allowed to grow with the growing number of population, ending up where it being clearly too stretched to supply an effective service. Public health is essential and shouldn't be allowed to wither on the vine.

That's quite nasty my friend no wonder your in pain thats nearly as bad as my spine i had a decompression to relieve the pressure on it mine was bone related but the damage in my case was permanent 😢 I am really happy you are getting the treatment you need
