This song is hauntingly beautiful. I tear up when she sings "I'm whispering our lullaby for you to come back home".

Not gonna lie, almost had me tearing up while driving home and listening to this song

I cried to this song at the end of the first episode. It hits so hard and it’s so on point with the gravity of the story. I think this song represents the anime better than the OP.

after watching the last episode of frieren I came here to reminisce since my heart cant settle down after seeing himmel explaining why he only give quick goodbyes since "After all, it would be embarassing when we met again"

This ending fits Frieren's experience so much. Out of all 1000+ years of her existence, a mere 10 years, was enough to change her than those centuries that have passed. "I tell you, even if I were reborn" "I'd choose this place again" "I tell you if we meet by chance again" "I won't let you go any more, I'd choose now" These lines are somewhat bittersweet, they tell the significance of those 10 years with the Hero Party to Frieren, yet at the same time, it tells of her regrets, regrets of letting them go.

The final line has me imagine her singing herself asleep, so he can return in her dreams "I'm whispering our lullaby for you to come back home"

Am I the only one that gets goosebumps from the last line? So good.

My best friend showed me this anime two days ago that my cat Sasha passed away. She spent her whole 11 years of life with me. Sharing that time with her felt like a fluffy dream. This song is very beautiful and the anime overall is helping me to cope with grief. I never experienced and never though how hard is the pain that comes after loosing your loved ones. But it is a proof that we loved. I would definitely choose this life again just to be with Sasha again and all the wonderful people that surround me right now. I wish I enjoyed even more every little moment I had with her. She was not just a cat, a pet, an animal. She was my life companion, my best friend when I had no one to rely on, always meowing and being adorable no matter how gray days were. She was one of my biggest treasures. I'll forever miss her, love her, and carry her in my heart as long as I keep living. If you are reading this, thank you for taking the time, and remember to live joyfully each moment you spend with your loved ones ♥

This song never fails to make me cry its to beautiful and the anime is a 10/10

People don't seem to get that the OP and ED song represent the journey and what comes after.

This anime easily broke into my top 5 anime of all time and it's not over yet. The story, the animation, the voice actors, everything about it is done wonderfully! I can't wait to read the rest when this is over.
