I’ll never get tired of watching Troy run it back to the house for the game winner and seeing the hometown fans going bonkers. I was inside a large, Steelers fan club and all of us erupted with pure elation, knowing that we hadn’t won an AFC title game at home since the ‘95 season. That play was legendary and so was Troy.

The roar in the stadium when Troy picked that ball!

I miss this team so much. It just... was so good. I especially miss Polamalu
  • So happy my mom got to see two Super Bowls before she passed in 2011. Grateful to God...

13:58 - Polamalu ran through a swarming O-Line, broke a tackle, and in for the TD. Damn awesome.

This rivalry went from of heated to respectful.

Still the most hard hitting game I’ve seen in a while

Ben was soooo good at escaping pressure and extending the play.

I was a mere 3 years old when this game happened but I remember the Polamalu pick six and the amount of cheering coming from my living room

Trey Biltin thank you for putting this together. Brings back great memories. I watched this at Carson City Saloon. When Polamalu made that interception the place erupted people were standing on chairs and the benches. What a defense. What a team! On a side note, I had forgotten about Limus Sweed, one of the biggest busts Steelers history, that dude couldn't catch a cold.
  • Polamalu was easily one of the best Steelers defensive players of this decade if not all time.

Steelers had one of the most dominant defenses of all time that year. Smith-Hampton-Keisel were so good up front. LBs and backfield were both top shelf as well. If Sweed would not have dropped that walk in TD this game would not have been so close

Special season! One of if not the greatest Steeler defense for one season!
  • It’s crazy I grew up watching a first ballot HOF with Troy as young Steelers fan as kid and in high school lol

8:13 Corey Ivey received coloring books for his birthday that year!
