  • I want to remind y'all that the theory that MoM is Tetsuya Nomura himself still exists.
  • @TheAlaskanboy
One thing that I keep thinking of. If MoM, Luxu, and the Foretellers were trained to contain the strongest 7 of the 13 darkness, then it would make sense that MoM is containing the strongest Darkness in his heart. What if he's wearing the black cloak not to keep out the dark, but to keep the darkness within from escaping? As he said in Re:mind "I'm too much of a scaredy-cat to ever take mine off."
  • MoM is Sora's mother. At the end you will see it was all an elaborate plan to get Sora to eat his dinner.
  • @BrennySpain
Everglow’s timeline for union cross, as well as dark road, was truly incredible I thought! I loved every minute of it.
  • @Prowler142
Imagine the final boss be held at Square Enix headquarters.
  • @TheBonzie
I think the master has a form since he himself is supposed to trap a Darkness inside him. I also think Luxu is important since he holds the memories of the master that is needed to time travel. If that's the means he used to get to the current time.

You are saying a lot of things I've been saying for at least a year now. MOM is likely a Willful Light similar to the Willful Darkness. If MOM isn't a Willful Light, I could easily see him as an species since he faded from reality like Sora did. And thank you for pointing out that MOM has clearly lied about some things.
  • What if he’s “Light?” If Darkness was revealed to be an actual entity, why not Light? When he tells Xehanort his name in ReMind, it goes silent and a bright light shines… That’s my theory.
  • @jakeriese4862
Could the Master be Light? Darkness is arrogant, knows a lot, and is evil, but polite, for an evil entity The master is manipulate, eccentric, knows a lot and tries to put feelings aside, for a "good" entity, notice how the screens in the room go off, but the "light" of the lamp stays on a while longer, and is the first thing to come back on before the monitors. And whe he puts his hand in a Heart shaped figure, in Quadadrum. Even if its just to reference the Kingdom Heart apparance, he could be playfully mimicking the worlds Light of Quadadrum. And when he tells YX his name, the screen "lights up"
  • He's got a doppleganger in Stranger of Paradise (another thing Nomura helped make) in the Lufenians' benefactor.
  • I have no doubt he’s his own separate person. Now whether his intentions are truly good in the long run or not that’s a whole different can of worms. Something tells me not to trust a single word he utters.
  • @soul8648
when you look in the eye of the No Name key blade, you can see shape of a yellow/golden heart on it
  • I’m hoping that the Master’s failsafe plan for the Foretellers not losing their lives deals with Vanitas being able to be given form. Such as, I’m wanting to figure out how many willful darknesses are still alive and then from there they get their own forms. That would allow them as a group to be a more focused villain. I see the Master using Sora and/or others for taking them out. We know that Vanitas’s soul returned to the time whence it came which means that he still rests in Ven’s heart at the current time period. So it allows Vanitas to come back and give history about Darkness.
  • I know it's probably not possible but imagine of MoM was Walt Disney. Originally Nomura wanted Yen Sid to be Walt but Disney wouldn't allow it.
  • Some of this dips a bit into philosophy. In KH 1 Riku made a good point "Darkness is half of everything." How right he was. It's like Yin & Yang. Darkness & Light are both natural, they are forces in both friction and compliment to one another. It is not the same as good and evil which are perceptual. Where ever there is a heart you will have both light and dark within it. As long as there is life and existence that will always remain a constant. As far as forms go. These eternal forces play a game, its never over and they likely take on what ever forms fit the moment for what is just another battle match in a forever cycle.
  • @Valderami
I think The Master is "Light" as an entity much like Darkness is an entity, and I think Narratively speaking the story is moving in a way for Sora to be Xehanort's "successor" of sorts in a finish what he started or succeed where he failed kind of way. Xehanort wanted balance between Light and Darkness and was willing to go to extreme lengths to do so. What if Light and Darkness are equal parts evil and threatening in the grand scheme of things (kind of like how Galeem and Darkhon in Smash Ultimates World of Light Story are Light and Darkness itself and equally threatening and the only way to get a "good" ending is to defeat both of them) and Sora is the one to "bring balance to the force" and defeat them both. That would narratively line up with how Xehanort was "bequeathing" the X-Blade to Sora at the end of KH3.

I think the Master is a puppet under the cloak. Specifically a Sora puppet. This could be something that happens to Sora later on, not entirely sure. I also think a woman is rather speaking with ventriloquy through him with a stolen voice, the way Ursula stole Ariel’s voice and how Sora’s voice was beyond reach in KH MoM. This also matches how MoM has ALL of Sora’s body language. Ursula also emphasizes this point in “Poor Unfortunate Souls”. Most peculiar is his behavior towards Gula, saying “Way to steal my thunder, showoff!” By render, Gula is a simulacrum of Sora. Both of them strike the same exact pose in their renders. Gula also has an association with the “Gluttony” story of Hercules- the hero who took on too much to handle til Hades broke his will. As we know, Sora was removed from reality for abusing the heroic power of waking, taking on too much burden. To address the “stolen thunder” line, this shows us a certain jealousy of Sora. Sora is a very popular video game character. This is actually the line used to describe the Candy King in Wreck-it Ralph. Turbo left his video game because a much more successful one got plugged in and put his game out of business. Felix explains Turbo was mad because Sugar Rush “stole his thunder”. It’s clear Turbo represents the MoM. Now, claiming that MoM is a woman manipulating the puppet, my prime suspect is Elrena/Larxene. When analyzed under this lens, it’s scary how many details neatly fall into place. For instance, when Xehanort asks MoM’s true name, his eyes widen in shock. This would be a reasonable response if the MoM told him a name that clearly belonged to a woman. It also certainly explains the level of flamboyance in MoM’s tone while still using Sora’s body language. It explains the MoM conjuration of No Name using electricity. However, at the end of the day I’m still uncertain if this puppet is being operated by just her alone. Lauriam appears thankful to Sora, but Demyx and Luxord also may play a role in this scheme.

I saw the thumbnail and I knew right off the bat, the Master of Masters is Sans.😂😂😂
