Music Teacher Reacts | DRUM GOD - Blinding Lights

Look, I know that his name is actually El Estepario, but hey.... can we just give him the title already!?
You all voted and told me that the best video to do next was this one... so here it is! Damn that pedal is something else....

  • He never stops, we know..As much you go into his covers you will see...The guy just changing whole drumm world

The levers to change mode are at the back left and back right of the main pedal. You switch to single mode by hitting the left lever, and switch to double mode when you hit the right lever, both times he is using his heel to engage each mode. That is hard enough to do on it's own, even if you are doing some thing relatively conventional and easy with your hands as the timing has to be precise each time, and with the double mode, the pedal doesn't spring back quite in the same way making it more difficult to retain the same consistency with the bass. The fact he's changing modes, whilst using 3 sticks, and doing some pretty complicated other stuff is just mind melting to me. I can play drums, I am not a drummer, but I can tell you with my limited knowledge and ability that what he's doing isn't just next level, it's a whole other planet. It's his musicality and orchestration that really sets him apart. There are other drummers who are technically proficient enough to be able to play this, with practice, but who else would come up with this cover in the first place. That's what really makes the difference. It goes without saying that he's one of the best technically I've ever seen, his consistency, speed and accuracy are awesome.
  • Undeniably he is unbelievable. It looks like it's on both sides of the heel, outside turns on the double, then he hits the instep side to turn it off again. If you look at the back of the pedal you can see part of it slide out when he reaches his foot off the outside of the pedal, and the back of the pedal slides back in when he taps the instep side of his foot. I hope that's clear enough to understand.

Hola amigo!! Nice reaction to Estepario. You see more, please. Greetings from Spain
  • @LBCSublimer89
Check out Baddadan or Hey Ya. Those covers are really great from Estepario!

The Weekend has a singer, drummer, keyboardist\guitar and keyboardist. To analyze what Jorge is doing and why you need to listen for the non-strong pulses of the melody meter that each instrument and the singer provides. Each instrument plays its own part to to create the meter of the melody. If all that's heard is the strong pulse of the meter might as well listen to the drumming in the original song.
  • The duelist pedal is known for defeating many drummers because it's so tricky. EES mastered it while doing crazy stuff with his hands. He amazing technically, but also so tasty musically. Then there's the entertainment value he provides so well. Crazy good!
  • In regards to the pedal one side turns off the double kick the other turns it on
  • wabt to be blown? try bongo song, gagnam style, doszilla, thriller, baddadan, and so many others. Jorge is jus t a God. practrices 8 hrs a day, at least, now he has a band, The Cost, no crazy stuff there, just music... but hes amazing, and with almost 4 millon subs, well u know why we all love him
  • @uweklein2181
Hola. Er ist einfach genial, ich schau ihm gerne zu und seine neue Band ist geil.prost aus Deutschland 🤘
  • He has a whole video on the dualist pedal and how it works.
  • he has a vid out with 2 dualist pedals and is able to hit 300 bpm on the kick
  • @coollakshman
The driving force behind this song is its incredible energy. At the moment I'm loving Nick Thurl Mavromatis' new song, you should definitely react to it!
  • @MrBPC76
It just amazes how much he does with a relatively simple kit. That duelist pedal is the only trick part of this one.
  • @kwolfgramm1
You need to comment on Godzilla by Eminem cover he did
