  • I think she missed the mark with intermittent fasting. When someone uses the phrase “starve yourself” it tells me they don’t really understand the value of allowing the body to become adapted to burning fat. Those of us who have lost weight using IF do not feel like we’re starving—quite the opposite—and it is entirely sustainable because it’s not a diet.
  • I love pieces of garlic that stay in a jar of olive oil for a few weeks or months. It tastes sweet,!

Maltodextrin is not just a carbohydrate but is very high on a glycemic index, more then a sugar, One should not consume any spice mix with maltodextrin,

You may call me old fashioned, but I feel that it's often the little things that give clues about a person; he didn't thank Deanna when she said she'd brought him a gift - that spoke volumes to me!

You all need to come to India, the OG of spice use. Even the toothpaste has spices in India!

I just love when the Podcaster says to go to Whole Foods and purchase the higher quality organic items. I have not seen a Super Bowl or news report for over 8 years. I don't have TV service because I don't have the money. No TV. Don't know what Netflix is. After paying all my bills with my tiny Social Security check I have $5.65 a day left for food. That's it. Bags of dried beans cooked in a pressure cooker. A few pasture raised eggs.
