Now that I think about it, saying that the mastersword is linked to Link's health and stuff, and that it was so "weak", because Link was about to die, would explain why he can't use swordbeams anymore if he is hurt.

Maybe the reason why Astor wasn’t recognized by anyone in AOC was that he disguised himself as the royal fortune teller and got rid of the real one so that ganon can destroy Hyrule?

Fi was telling Zelda that the batteries in link's Wii remote were running low

There’s a parallel to when Link awakens his connection with the sword and when Zelda awakens her sealing power. Link reaches out to save Zelda, and in doing so, the sword reacts and his power and role as the knight is awakened Zelda reaches out to save Link, and in doing so, her power and her role as the princess is awakened.

Just a cool Easter egg, if you equip the training sword on the Breach of Demise mission, Link uses a pot lid to deflect the guardian blast like it says in Daruks journal. I just thought it was cool.

It's probably for the best that none of the ships were outright confirmed canon, can you imagine how aggressive people would get over it

In regards to astor, it's possible the corruption of malice changed him, if you remove the malice eye on his forehead and the bags around his eyes he would look very different

It's so weird how there were references to Fi before Skyward Sword released. The stuff like Midna saying "the Sword excepted you as its Master" is reference to Fi, yet it came 5 years before Skyward Sword. The Zelda team does a lot to make the lore extremely fleshed out.

I wish we could see a glimpse of Link's family life... If memory serves there was some concept art of his father and sister. Meh, still enjoyed the game regardless.

I really like the description of the Zora armor (torso). It describes how they're painstakingly crafted by the Zora princess for her true love, as it does in BotW. But it also adds "It's probably okay to wear this. ... Probably."

Astor is an alternative spelling for Aster, and its derived from the greek word for star. The name as it is spelled in game means hawk - and hawks are associated with divination/foresight. Pretty cool if you ask me!

I believe the “orb” Astor uses is actually a part of the Malice-infused Terraco. When we see him in the room with Kohga and Sooga we see what looks to be a stationary Terraco and it’s bottom piece (the gear) looks to be missing. As confirmation you can see Terraco has this gear and sometimes when his body shifts you can see the inner orb.
