This is a compilation of all the clips containing General Modula, the main antagonist of Sym-Bionic Titan, a show that aired on Cartoon Network in 2010 and has unfortunately since been canceled.

I do not own any of the footage used in this video. All clips are owned by Turner EST and the show itself was created by Genndy Tartakovsky.

If you do like the show, please support it legally to encourage the creation of a second season.

Also, if you would like to learn more about the show, I suggest watching this video here:    • WAIT... Remember Sym-Bionic Titan?

Thank you.

I like how he started out not killing any of his subordinate's who failed him but as the series goes on and his frustration grows he starts killing them left right and center.
  • Love that they can’t say “kill” but they can straight up break a guys neck.
  • I have a theory that Mondula is actually dead and that hat of his, isn't actually a hat but some sort of brain worm that is controlling Mondula's corpse into some sort of queen hive. Having a hat that can cast tech magic and move where Mondula goes feels strange but familiar? If the show got another season, I'd expect Illana to accidentally knock the hat's disguise off while battling him and see the gruesome parasite teeth-deep in Mondula's head-meat. If our human-alien duo are physiologically similar to us humans, that must mean Mondula is susceptible to the same limits of us humans?

Always thought he wasn't the real General but an alien under his hat driving him like a car.
  • I like how Modula acknowledges at times when he's told that he will be stopped or is mad by saying "Perhaps" or "hmm, someday, maybe, just not today." I like a villain that knows there is always a chance of defeat even if things are going well at the moment.

“Someday, maybe.” snap “but not today.” Chills man. Serious chills.
  • This show was wrongly denied the justice it so deserved. It could've been Genndy's greatest master piece.

Love a villain who's dressed with class and knows how to fight with elegance like Count Dooku which is ironic because Genndy did Clone Wars 2003 as well.

I forgot how absolutely JACKED the king was, dude probably crushed the heads of one of those invaders with his bare hands.
  • man he was once a great general now turned into a tyrant by unknown means, which we will never get to know! Thanks a lot toy license!
  • @vrinnmetagen
I'm still convinced his hat is just controlling his body
  • Genndy sure knows how to make awesome antagonists. If the show hadn't been canceled, I would've love to see Lance fight Modula. That'd be sick to see!

General Mondula starts out strong but gradually becomes one note. He keeps sending monsters when he should just do it himself

The best case scenario for a Sym Bionic Titan continuation is by comic book adaptation. I understand that the animation is what gave Sym Bionic Titan its charm and epic battles but I'm certain Genndy can excel in being a comic writer and artist if he applies himself. If only he weren't so busy.
  • I always thought something was inhabiting his body, like it was being used as a puppet by some being that was the true leader. The king did say he was Dead so I believe this is a viable theory
  • This show deserves a comeback. Primal is a good example of why Genndy should be allowed to continue this story.
  • I would argue that, based on the personality change from what he was like when he was younger, it’s likely that General Modula, as we see here, is not the same Modula from the past; as if something - or someone - has altered him. It’s likely he did “die,” in a sense, but was brought back to life in some form and altered to be less “Modula, the loyal general to the King” and more “The Tyrant Modula.” I wouldn’t doubt that he is, in truth, in a symbiotic relationship of his own with some form of creature that has been feeding the negative emotions (that of anger and vengeance) in exchange for keeping him alive. It would be rather fitting for a show built upon the idea of symbiotic relationships for the antagonist to be in such a relationship. However, where the heroes are in a positive symbiotic relationship (one that is mutually beneficial), the villain is in a negative symbiotic relationship (one that is malignant or outright parasitic).

His VA knocks it pit of the park! Not just with the sinister villain stuff, but even in the flashback as a general.
  • Unlike most villains, this one at least he does admit that he might be delusional and he could be beaten someday.
