Skyrim Dawnguard DLC remains one of my favorite expansion packs ever. Release well over half a decade ago, The Elder Scrolls 5’s Dawnguard quest thrusted Skyrim into the center of an amazing jockey for power between the ancient Volkihar vampire clan, and a noble guild of vampire hunters, known as the Dawnguard. However, over the past seven years Skyrim’s modding community has been hard at work, producing various mods that overhaul both small bits and large elements of the Dawnguard expansion and transforming it into something truly timeless. So today we’ll be taking a look at a few of the greatest mods currently available for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim’s Dawnguard DLC.

  • So excited to grab a bottle of mead, kick back, relax, and enjoy this video! I love Dawnguard, but I think there was a lot of potential missed. Great stuff as always, Nate!

This is how vampire attacks usually go for me: I fast travel to a city, then, just before loading screen ends, 7 characters yell "NEVER SHOULD HAVE COME HERE" as some vampires spawn together with me. Then I try to help kill the vampires but accidentally hit one person, so a guard tries to arrest me while a vampire is using the succ spell on me, giving me aids.

Can we get a version of this for the Dragonborn and Hearthfire DLCs, if you haven't already done it?
  • @neesan9962
Literally the only thing about the dawnguard that made me even think for a second about not joining the vampires.. was the only thing you didn't mention.. the huskies.

"You'd expect the base to be more populated and lively." No, actually I wouldn't. Including the ramshackle inside, I'd say bare bones is probably how it should look given the short time it's been back in operation
