Our culture loves to tell the story of a plucky group of outsiders showing the snooty 'experts' that gut instinct is more important than their book learning. The Trump administration is that idea put into practice.

It does track perfectly that Donnie would consider people within the government who actually know and DO their jobs as inessential, at best, and a plot against him at worst.

Great stoy about that oceonagrapher. It is also an example of how government works as opposed to free market capitalism. In free market capitalism, if what that guy did was worth something, someone would have made a book, an app or a business out of it. In a system where everything is valued by money alone, human values disappear.

It’s funny he’s talking about this book in 2019, I got this book last Christmas but anybody reading this, it is not dated in the slightest! Trump is even less prepared than you think (hard to believe but true)
