  • Outrun will always be one of my favorite arcade games. I remember having to sit on that chair and drive.
  • The Arcade Archive version of Donkey Kong is a must for any classic arcade lover. You can play in verticals Tate mode too. If your an enthusiast an investment in Tate mode grip is priceless. You get so much more usable screen real estate on games that have the ability, especially shooters.
  • Great video for arcade games on the switch. I myself really started my gaming in the arcade with Pong, Scramble, Space Invaders, Phoenix Sheriff, Commando, Sky Kid, Track & Field (which is not very good to play on your Switch) and any Atari games. It was probably the best time for innovation in gaming. I so miss gaming in arcades so I love replicating those experiences on my Switch. Just wish they would release Popeye on the Switch. Oh and as for Donkey Kong I tell everybody to get the arcade archives version on the switch it is the only way to play it.
  • Centipede and millipede are my favorite classic arcade games. I like the color pallette swap and the game design. It has a sort of ecosystem happening in the game that makes the game feel dynamic. Shooting the bugs spawn mushrooms, spiders wash them away, poisoned mushrooms happen which changes up the flow, etc. It just all flows real nicely
  • The Switch is an incredible arcade machine! The ACA archives is my preferred way of getting old fighting and action games from the Neo Geo era, such as Metal Slug, Samurai Shodown, KoF 98, 2002, Last Blade, Garou, Fatal Fury, etc. They go on sale a couple of times a year. Hours of fun!
  • So many that you list, I have. Ray’s Collection, Capcom Arcade vols. 1 and 2, SEGA ages games, NeoGeo classics… I, too, love arcade games. I recently bought Shinobi by SEGA Ages. They stopped the ability to get it through the eShop, so I went onto Amazon and ordered the code. It still worked and I have been enjoying this classic ever since. I’m also enjoying the hell out of Space Harrier. Thanks for an amazing video.

You did an awesome job summarizing all these games. Most I already own, had no idea Black Widow would be a game I wanted to check out and definitely going to check out virtual racing now!!!!Thanks again
  • It's great to see someone else that shares the same love for these games, Outrun, Sunset Riders & Mystic Warriors are some great ones as well as the vast selection of Neo Geo games
  • Couple things I noticed -- 1. The PC Engine CD port of Wonder Boy III: The Monster Lair got left out from the Wonder Boy Anniversary Collection. 2. All the S-Tribute games, including the Puzzle Bobble 2 and 3 shown here, have input lag of six frames.
  • 20:49 Small correction, the ACA NeoGeo version of Puzzle Bobble 2, still calls it Puzzle Bobble 2, it was only the Taito F3 System version of the game that changed its name (to Bust-a-Move Again, removing Bub and Bob entirely). Another small note, the Capcom Arcade Stadiums each have 32 games (1 built into the free app and 31 that can be bought piecemeal or in say a 40 US Dollar bundle). 22:02 The unlimited credits option only being a thing for 2X/Arcade Edition since 3 has infinite continues from the offset.
  • One arcade game sorely missing on the switch is Crazy Taxi. Why Sega has not done a port is kind of insane to me. They are leaving money on the table. Get to it Sega.
  • @payne540
I wish Sega would give us Virtua Fighter 1-3 on the Switch
  • I really wish the Switch had a vertical mode like on the Atari Lynx. That would be perfect for a lot of the early coin-op stuff.
  • Ghost N Goblins is the only game I can't beat without a Game Genie. Without it, if I am extremely lucky, I might just beat the first boss before Game Over. With the Game Genie I just turn on unlimited lives. There is a code for invincibility as well, but that makes it too easy. At least with unlimited lives if you do die you get sent back to the last checkpoint.
  • Where the heck are the 'Mr. Do' games? They need to be on The Switch!
  • @RAPTOR948
What I want is the 6-player X-men game on Switch! That would be awesome! Then there's The Simpsons from Arcade I want on the Switch! I remember there is a Teenage Mutant ninja turtles collection on Nintendo Switch, but I haven't got it so far...
