Hi Red! Love both the archaeological posts and these car videos. So much fun and fascinating. I love reading Clive Cussler novels in which he often featured classic cars, including a Talbot. He had his own very large collection. So your posts fit right in with all my favorite subjects!

Two of the cars in the barn were Alfa Romeo , The white one was a early 70s Giulietta Sprint Veloce, and the red one next to it was a Veloce SS.
-
I noticed a vintage white alfa romeo 6c next to a red bmw 507 in that one collection.

My favorite forgotten and ragged car find remains Babs. I read a Ken Purdy article on Babs when I was a kid and I've been hooked ever since.

The Etype jag featured last in this video is shown in one photo towing a trailer with a MG TF on the back . I restored the Mg a few years ago and the customer showed me that very picture of some of the cars history

I know a guy in CZ who owns one of the first shown Tatra! Was in his private museum.

That "barn find" in Portugal isn't a hord of abandoned cars. The owner is well aware of their existance and whereabouts and who took the pictures actually had to vandalize the warehouse lock to get in. And I've heard stories the photos only show one of two warehouses that former car dealer has. Not sure he's dead either.

The Talbot Lago T26 coupe will be restored - and it is apparent that much of the cars' original custom bodywork is crispy crunchy rust toast. Therefore - it'll have to serve as templates for patterns to recreate the whole inner wood frame and the metal skin unique to this one-off custom creation. Since the history and chassis plate with engine, wheels, and not much else was purchased for over a million dollars - the actual restoration costs could easily top that! It'll be interesting to keep tabs on this project and the ongoing progression of the rebuild.

That Standard/Triumph Mayflower was pretty cool.

I was literally just saying how I’m finally going to start looking for a vehicle to build and I see this in my recommended feed...smh

seria fantastico encontrar un Pegaso z 102. Ese espectacular automovil Espanol vale mas que todos juntos.

The Iso could be picked up for peanuts when I was shopping for cars in the 80s. I got a whole bunch of classics over the years but remember a few I passed by that I now dream about... A Healey 100/4 for £495 (Why didn't I get it?) and Isos for under a £1000...A whole bunch of Mercedes sports for similar prices. Really the choice was huge in those days and if anyone had storage space they could..and did..make a fortune with a bit of foresight. My choice today - right now - if you have room, the Bentley Continental Coupe is now available for less than a second hand family Ford... Put two of these in a garage for twenty five years...

the mrecdes, they don't fall apart they were built to last the only thing that kills them is rust and a lack of good care, the other things as well might be the gas miles as in poor so might be why they parked it up,

Awesome. Hope to see them resored

These videos are just terrible. Super loose and fast with the facts, and half of what is being shown is not what he is talking about.
-
Awesome..Cars..I like that....

I thought it was a nice touch to show the right front guard of the restored Porsche. A couple of seconds should do it.
