Dr Youn, I had a reduction with catastrophic complications. I quit smoking nearly a month prior, as instructed. But my surgeon did not tell me it was the NICOTINE, not just the cigarettes, I needed to quit. I used nicotine gum to quit. And developed necrosis on my left side, losing the entire nipple and areola complex…. Doctors have to adequately inform patients. I don’t think my surgeon gave me proper pre op instructions. I’m glad you’re usually really in depth with videos pertaining to surgical risks.

Nutrition is CRITICAL to plastic surgery success! That really needs to be part of the training

Great to see light being shed in these misconceptions. We need more honesty about what it can and can’t achieve as people deserve to know before getting themselves into something that will change their life forever.

My breast reduction scars are so big and awful! As a ginger, I’m not risking that on my face!

I had my third major operation (spinal) in a private clinic in Switzerland. They started me off with supplements in oral, intramuscular injection and IV form six weeks in advance of the surgery. Amazing. It was the only time that I didn’t get post-op bronchitis and the healing, including scarring, was optimal, despite me having been under anaesthesia for more than four hours. I hthen had eight weeks post-op of supplements. The resulting recovery time was reduced to 1/3 compared to each the previous two operations. This was probably due in part to the fact that I was able to breath and sleep better, thanks to not being chronically ill with respiratory problems (as in the first two OPs). It was an eye opener to me regarding what money can buy in terms medical care. The first two ops were on health insurance. The last one was privately funded and there was no limit to spend. The cost difference in the end was only about 15% more in total for the the private care. A lot of money was saved due to a much shorter hospital stay.

Can you adjust the music in your next video? It was way too loud, hard to listen to what you were saying
  • @NessaRossini...
A friend had cesarean births and her scars looked frightening. Now I know why, she's an Irish ginger.
  • The truth hurts. We have to weed all this stuff out. Thank you Dr. Young for doing that there’s no price too high for correct information and nothing more you can suffer from bad information.

Thank you for your honesty Dr. Youn.
  • I honestly believe that a good plastic surgeon, who has had the proper training and is certified, cares about their patients will not do a procedure that will harm their patients. For example Dr. Mark Ashton said, there is no plastic surgeon in Australia, that will do a BBL because we all know how dangerous that operation is. On the other hand there are so many people that are focused on plastic surgery procedures. As a result doctors are taking these short courses in plastic surgery and calling themselves cosmetic surgeons. Some of these so called surgeons are doing these procedures to broadcast on social media or for profit and what I have seen, there is no respect for the patient. These so called surgeons will do any procedure including the BBL.

I remember seeing tons of infomercials for thread facelifts in 2003. It’s fascinating hearing now about what was being advertised back then.

Background music is too high, i couldn't watch the video till the end

My facelift in 2016 cost $7,000. I am thrilled with the results of my PTO threads I had done a year ago.The cost is nowhere near what you quoted.
