There are zero other top elite athletes helping us midpackers as much as you!!! Thank you so so very much!! I hope this channel blows up and you make some serious coin for all the help you're giving us!!

That rant in the middle about doing the warmup and getting loose was pure gold
  • Love the raw, unfiltered true feeling! Never lose that, it's infectious!

Thanks for the final comment on being kind to yourself. Just did my 3rd marathon last Sunday and it didn’t go to plan. GI issues had me make a bathroom stop at the 11km mark. Ended up 3 mins slower off my PB. My wife had to remind me that the the 2nd half actually was a half-Marathon PB for me. Sometimes the overall disappointment takes away from the wins. Something Iam working on. As for the beard, if she’s as wise as my wife…I’d say trim it lol (meet her half way)
  • these videos are very nicely structured and edited. I really like how 2:30 - 4:30 he's showing us select drills while giving us info about speed at a higher level ... very thoughtful and well done!
  • I’m 75, have a 10k in 9 days, I’m working on speed every day but that’s relative. I have to be careful not to push too hard. You are right speed kills.

'Everyone wants to be better at running but nobody wants to pay the price." That hit home for me. Your videos are so motivating and i love how you keep it real. /thank you for sharing your knowledge!

I love your honesty and selflessness, man. All your words come from the heart and sit right at the heart. Well done, and keep up the great work!

I just found your channel. It's fantastic. Your ability to speak to everyone from plodders to olympians is amazing. Please keep up the amazing work you do. It's more beneficial than you will ever realise.

Thank you Stephen, I needed this video(mostly for the pep talk). I have been struggling with injuries and niggles for a few months trying to build up the mileage again after my first half. Running really is hard. Cheers from phx AZ

Thank you Stephen, great content, so true your advice to any runner. I've been running for 30+ yrs and it never changes, you can only improve at this great sport through self conquest, its such a journey, Kipchoge says " Only the disciplined are truly free", but its not easy
  • What are your thoughts on the ultra trail community, when dealing with elevation etc…Jim Walmsley in comparison to Killian Jornet and other elites? Love to hear your thoughts on this unique running comparison. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
  • @aflor135

Coming at the perfect time for me in-between marathon blocks.

I've been running for 10 years, and I still need this kind of video as a good reminder to myself to ALWAYS WARM UP PROPERLY! I'm just coming back after a long break from running and trying to get back to my speed. Thanks Stephen!
  • Split it , summer time lose it , winter time grow it back . (It's what I did ..happy life and all that )

🙏🙏🙏 first stumbled across the content on YouTube. Now I'm in the jogging room. 1 goal lead towards 4 goals. And everything's making sense to me now🙏 most of my friends that are running now are asking me questions most days now. I tell them where to find the jogging room and YouTube channel. Thanks champ. I always write in my journal when I feel good, feeling healthy. 🤝
