CHANNEL MANAGEMENT and RTL interface in Raspiblitz

Published 2020-08-09
Lightning network channel management is rather complicated task to wrap head around for new users. Different channels, inbound and outbound capacity, local and remote balances, and commitment fee on top of it? Today we will send some bitcoin on-chain to our raspiblitz node, open channels and receive inbound channels. On top of it, I'll enable Ride The Lightning (RTL) web interface in raspiblitz to graphically show it and analyze it on custom infographics. Tune it o learn more!

If you don't have your raspiblitz set-up yet, watch this video:

Opinion produced in this video is just my own opinion. I am not a financial advisor, just a guy speaking about the news and technology behind the bitcoin. Raspiblitz is an experimental software, this video is not an instruction, be aware of security of your funds before proceeding.

Amazing, keep up the great work!
  • I would really like a more in depth tutorial on generating inbound liquidity using Loop-Out. As you mentioned, it is one of the most difficult processes with noobs (like myself).

I'm a new noder :) and I must say that this concept of having inbound liquidity is like getting a job in real life, paying my boss first so he can give me a salary. I can't get my head around how is this ok? I'll just stick to the Bitcoin node and ditch the lightning.

Hi Tony, thanks very much for the Video! One short question, what Plug-In do you use to monitor your RasPi within Mobaxterm?

Hi, do you have, or are you making a tutorial with Lightning Pool? Is this the best way to generate liquidity for my node?
