Later on, it seemed like The Cars didn't play All Mixed Up too often at concerts, and I'm not sure why. In my mind, these two songs should always be together!

I love Ben Orr so much. His voice was just incredible and he had such great stage presence, just a member of the band and yet he always stood out to me. He seemed like an incredibly generous bandmate.

RIP Ben Orr. He was without a doubt one of the best vocalists of our time.

I turn 60 this month, bought this on cassette on my high school senior trip. Played it a thousand times back then, and still pull it up and listen these days. Where did the years go?

If nothing else in life, do not pass on seeing the groups you want to see because one day it will be to late and you will never have that second chance.

I was a junior in high school when this album came out in 1978. It became the goto at the many house parties back then. It was called "New Wave" music, along with The Police, Talking Heads, Robert Palmer, etc. Rock and, what we called Dance Music (Disco) were big also. Every bar we went to, we danced. Drinking age was 18, I got in everywhere at 16. The dance floors we packed. The girls, all dressed up. What a great time to be alive.

My fav part is watching Ben smile when he sings Everything Will Be Alright. It actually comforts me during times of trouble
