What are you most proud to display in your hangar? This week on Inside Star Citizen, we're taking one last look at the changes coming to one of the most fundamental features of the 'verse: your hangar, the items within, and how you move them.

Honestly, as excited as I am for persistence in hangars, the removal of armistice in hangars might be the biggest win here! No more having to take off and fly out of armistice range before you can load your weapon rack or give a fellow player a gun or even just test out weapon fire rate, recoil and spread!

Glad to hear the Spirit, Cutty, etc. now will be assigned to medium hangars. I could barely get into those small hangars in my Spirit without grazing the wings on the impossibly tight door entrance.

I'd love to see a purchasable 4 SCU sized gun rack/weapon locker that snaps to cargo grids. It'd make moving weapon kits between locations much easier (as well as letting us build our own armories in our personal hangars).

How am I gonna load my Carrack???

What we need are functional beverage and coffee vending machines.

How about showing weapons with their attachments in the storage display so we can tell which of our dozen P4-ARs are equipped with which goodies? Also, when selling said weapons, include the sell price of the attachments and not just the base price of the weapon.

i hope they allow sets. set up favorite load outs for different things. so instead of looking through everything every time you just select your favorite load out and it all shows up in one click.

Heh Big Benny Stone Henge in the hangar. Nice throw back.

Nice to see these larger systems falling into place. Still hoping to see an inside star citizen titled "NPC overhaul" tho. For me getting rid of the static t-poses, random npc standing on seats &spawns on top each other should be way higher in priority. Takes you right out of the world everytime. Also increased character interactions

While I really won't be doing a ton of shipping related stuff, I do recognize how important it is to the game as a whole. Inventory management branches into every aspect of the game.

Implementing the search functionality was a magnificent use of the extra time. Well done.

Loving how you guys made it sound like the Item Kiosks is a "convenience".
  • This Chad fellow seems like a sweetheart. You can tell he really cares about making things dope for the players and responding to feedback. Huge ups for implementing search, gonna be so huge

Thank God they are adding the search function to the elevators. Thank you very much!
  • @blugobln85
I remember when they added the hangar for the first time and we could visit our ships there. Now we are returning to them... properly! Its glorious.

Much like in the stores - Im hoping that we'll be able to showcase our armour on mannequins (eventually) or other forms of showcasing (glass cupboards etc). Be great to visit someones personal hangar and they show you their best collection of items they've earned.

Welp...time to figure out how to haul a Big Benny's vending machine away. BUT..we're still waiting on some clarification on security measures at outposts. If you're loading cargo, I can run up to the terminal & send your boxes down the freight elevator, making them my boxes or I can just tractor beam them away.
