When asked about this bit, Holly explained that when she was a lil baby she managed to go out of bounds in a game from her childhood. And what she found (the vast, empty void beyond the skybox) terrified her to the point of nightmares. This animantic perfectly captures the horror of the emptiness of purpose in a fake existence and the wonder of a child breaking the map for the first time. Yay!
