Saw them in concert at Rogers, Arkansas and Luke told the story behind this song. He wrote for his son from the perspective of a Godly father praying for their son and praying to be able to raise him as a man of God.

Every time I listen to this song I feel like crying. I listened to over and over again during my last few months of high school. I was battling a lot of anxiety, depression, and loneliness and voices telling me I wouldn’t finish and I wouldn’t make it to graduate. This song felt like a reminder from the Lord that I was gonna make it. And I did :)

This song means a lot to me… I break down crying a lot of times when I listen to it. That doesn’t happen to me with any other song really. There’s something special about this one. Thank you For King & Country. Loved your concert.

Love the story behind this song. I am just starting to raise my toddler in the ways of the Lord. I was raised the same way but lost my way for so long 😢 Seeing him everyday is such a blessing to know God gave me him. I have to teach him the ways of the Lord because this world won't.

I heard this during one of their YouTube mixes while working a couple of days ago, needless to say it's on repeat! I feel this is God speaking to His children! Cause right now life is lifeing so hard right now! The tears are just coming! I pray if life is not the greatest, I am cheering you on to supernatural blessings and life starts letting you live and give as He is going to give to you!
