Video review was excellent. It reinforced my decision for buying the Revo Q. In regards to the length of the video, it was great and informative. Thanks

Thanks for the review. We just upgraded from Deebot N8 Ozmo to Roborock Q Revo and it's a significant difference. Even though it's older tech, the biggest problems we had with our Deebot were with the app and mapping system which I think is subpar compared to Roborock. I had to remap almost every week before we finally just made the swap. Currently I have no complaints for our Roborock - our house is definitely staying clean and works well, especially with the floors being mopped daily.
  • Very helpful review, solidified my decision to purchase a Q Revo from Roborock. Thank you very much. Also, I’m shopping for a dash camera for my SUV and it would be great to see a video comparing best dash cameras of 2023

Details I haven't seen in any other review video. Very useful, thank you

Thanks for the review. That's really helpful. It's also consistent with some other reviews of the same products. I like the fact that the Roborock is a little quieter but I don't think it's really significant. I'm sure both units are much quieter than me whining, because I have to do it myself.😅

Good comparison you put a lot into testing them more than others.
  • @rydmike
Love this kind of comprehensive testing and review, really helpful, thanks 🙏

I have this T20 Omni robot, and at this point I won't recommend it to anyone, because it's terribly buggy. Both the cleaning strategy leaves a lot of uncleaned areas with TrueDetect 3D activated, which does more harm than good, and the operating app, which throws errors every now and then. If you have a pedestal a little deep under the cabinets in the kitchen, forget that the robot along will clean (even though there is room). It will detect the cabinets in the front above and erroneously assume that this is already a wall, or there is no space. There's no telling what it's guided by. And leave the cabinet still unclosed for a while, the robot won't even pass under the door. It will go around them in an arc and, of course, will not clean under them. The above problems are caused by TrueDetect 3D, because instead of using this option to not pull up cables and such, it uses TrueDetect for other purposes, such as misjudging that it won't drive somewhere. Turning off TrueDetect 3D causes the robot to clean under cabinets, pass under doors and also drive into places it has trouble accessing. Just why buy a robot with an obstacle-avoidance option if it works badly? And and disabling TrueDetect 3D makes the robot blind in front and very often hits objects with its bumper. Another problem with the T20 Omni robot is the procedure for returning to and leaving the station. The robot leaves the station each time with mops laid on the floor to mop a remote area. Likewise with the return to the station. If the robot returns with raised, dirty mops, it lays them down, and so dirtying its driveway, it drives back to the station. After vacuuming itself, it also lays them down and scrubs them dry as it drives into the station. Nonsense. As if they forgot to program the robot with different start and return procedures depending on the circumstances (program). The app is so clunky that it often doesn't display the current status of the robot and you have to exit the app every so often to see where the vacuum cleaner is and what it's doing. It looks like a WebView app, and when you open it, it loads like a page. On top of that, it is badly translated into Polish. Sometimes there is a blank screen with "undefined" instead of the message content. And to make it even worse, there is no option to manually control the robot (remote control). Of course, I reported these problems to support, but it's been 4 months and nothing has changed, no update that even improved the exit and return to the station without laying dirty mops. Most of the positive reviews, from what I observe, come from sponsorship or the free donation of equipment for testing in anticipation of a positive review. It's also worth mentioning that Ecovacs has sent out an email to users that the robot has a manufacturing defect, and this applies to the T20 Omni series manufactured before June 2023. The problem is that one mopping pad falls out periodically. Of course, mine caught and there is a form further asking for an address where they will send replacement parts. After 2 months they sent new mops and plastic pads and so far nothing has fallen out, and before that it happened.

You should have had them battle each other to the death in a robot vac war! That would have been fun to see 🤣😂
  • Thanks for the comparison! what do you think about the qrevo VS the dreame l10s ultra?
  • Hey there. Love your reviews and videos! Will there be a Honor 90 review? You've had the 70 one, that's why asking. Have a great one!
  • @Chaewly_wx
Not surprised the Roborock gets the win here, we have the old S6 model still works well
  • @UnaNeshoba
What is the height of the T20 Omni without Lidar? I need a robot that vacuums under an 80 mm cupboard ledge.

    I Swear, i see a PS5 and XBOX Series X

Costco carries the Deebot TEO Omni which is the exact same as the T20 Omni. Apparently it's been on sale for as low as $625. At that price, and with Costco's return policy, I think it's a smarter purchase decision than the Q Revo. If the machine is problematic in a year or 2, you can easily return it and then by then the next gen of Robot Vacs will probably be even greater.
