In late 1967 I found myself in the army and doing Basic Training at Fort Dix, NJ. Most of the guys in my platoon were from Mass. Late one night, we were getting ready to get into our bunks for our 4 or 5 hours sleep; someone had a little transistor playing and this song came on. The room just froze. I looked around and there wasn't a dry eye in the place, the song sounded more beautiful than I'd ever heard it before or since. I'll never forget that moment and will forever be grateful for the BeeGees.

Robin just sitting there, legs crossed, casual as you like, performing flawlessly with his ridiculously incredible voice. What a talent. The harmonies are something else. There won't be another group like them. A true one off band.

As a millenial who used to love kpop, hip hop and metal, I got into the rabbit hole because of this interview.. since 2021, my music listening time is 99% Bee Gees and for me, no current artist/celeb can top this group.
