Universe Rush: The Big Bang Edition

Fun fact: In the opposius trio’s intro cutscene, if your player doesn’t have a bow to knock down opposey off of their force field they use the fireball spell you learn at the start of the game, and if you don’t have either (by using the soldier duo skip) you will throw the wooden sword you started with.

R/bossfight is the place where people turn random images or videos into boss fights and people give lore to them, and that is absolutely magnificent, no arguments, just creating bosses

People need to do more of these. And they need to get real popular. Some also needs to go through the entirety of r/Bossfight r/itemshop and make a video game based off of everything there.

why does the sun god genuinely look really fucking cool

I truly love the lore on this game. With the Oppusius trio, each head is a different aspect of the universe. Starting with the head on the right, at least our right, he is the creator of worlds, able to birth in galaxies and planets into existence, the head on the far left, he corrupts those galaxies into something twisted and vile. While the middle head, he destroys those corrupted galaxies, paving way for the cycle to continue. Truly the developers thought very deeply about their Characters.

Strategy for oculon: oculon is a very tricky boss, thus being optional. His ability, future sight allows him to predict most things you do and almost always land crits. So being offensive is your worst option. Wait for him to attack, and try to dodge rather then block. Blocking will end with you being stunned. When you dodge, don’t instantly attack and instead go for a counter. Do this enough and oculon will drop his 3 headsets. Stats being +25 defense, -3 speed, and future sight.

I like that to an extent Vilto and Tritio mirror each other. Like if you look at the actual lore of their friendship it makes sense they both learned under master Gurao. The sad thing is that their friendship had to end in such a drastic opposition.

Pepper Knight definitely seems like the type of boss that just becomes a normal enemy after you fight them.

You see, the endings you get are based on your interaction with boss 9 Vilto. Neutral: natural endings occur when you leave vilto alone after encounter and defeat her without killing her after she gives up you fight sol who feels you dishonored his acolyte and will challenge you True: if you do not fight vilto and instead avoid her attacks for several minutes she and sol will acknowledge you as good and provide you away to the final challenge where after defeating oppusios, sol will accept you as his champion Bad ending: the bad ending is achieved when you kill vilto even after she stands down, as the cat god her duty is to keep control over Trition. When you encounter him there is no true win for even when you lower his health to 1 he becomes invincible and his attacks become instant hits.
