Tammie, I'm a 19 y/o female from the US, and I have been chronically ill since I was 12. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), POTS, and Mast Cell Activation Disorder (MCAS). I also deal with immense chronic pain that has kept me mostly bedroom bound for the majority of my teen years. There is a quote that goes like this: 'Someone will see your thorns and be comforted.' I am comforted knowing I am not the only one who is sick. I'll be here cheering you on, Tammie, and let's walk this difficult path together. WE GOT THIS!!!

Tammie, I am your same age, too! And I've also come out of the hospital, for mental health reasons. It is so, so comforting to see someone like you, who are so determined despite the cards we are dealt in life. You are STRONG! I am so inspired, as well; I've seen the way that you turn to God because sometimes I have trouble with faith. You motivate me to keep fighting, despite the hardships I face. Thank you for sharing your journey! You've got this, girl! šš

you are a true inspiration to many other teens who is also fighting their illness everyday, sending you the warmest hugs and praying for you!

I can't imagine how hard is this for you but I want you to know that God is with you and I know He will heal you soon... TRUST HIS PROCESS!
-
Praying for you Tammie. Stay strong!!!

Currently watching this from the hospital. I'm going on week 3 of being in the hospital for what feels like the 100th time in the past 4 years. I'm also chronically ill and nothing seems to be helping with my symptoms. I may end up having surgery again soon to try and help, but currently, the doctors need to find a way to get on the same freaking page. I've had a NG tube several times, rn I have a G tube though bc it's more long-term. I'm around your age I believe, and it's motivating to see you still trying to continue self-care and doing things that make you happy while in the hospital. Stay strong, I hope things get better for you! (Yes I'm aware this was posted like a year ago)

Hello Tammie, I am so proud you for creating this video, although I cried so much seeing that you have to go through all this pain at such a young age. I have a daughter age 19 and although she is healthy, I realize we will never appreciate life until we truly experienced real pain. But I believe you are born here as a special source of inspiration to all of us. Please don't ever give up and believe in yourself that you are here for something bigger in life. If you believe in god, HE is always fair. I know you will make your parents proud one day. All the best and stay strong Tammie!
