Now - having beaten the audience's brains out with "The Show", this would have been song 2 - from the decay of the cymbal crashes, comes the ethereal synths and voices with cool new lighting effects, pin spots on the singers, the backlit drummer waits to beat out the intro to the tune as images play on a huge screen behind the band of whatever we would have ended up doing ...
This was a real band, there was an investor who owned 12 Burger King restaurants who was blown away by what we could live in that club in Miami and offered to back us - then backed out. First he backed in, then he backed out. I spent 12 months writing new songs, preparing videos, recordings, conceptual drawings - for nothing...but here you are, hopefully listening to the whole song (as best I can restore [for free] the old recording) and imagining what would've happened. The keyboard player and drummer are deceased, the bassist who knows what happened to him, but me - I still can rock. The added guitar parts (acoustic and electric) were done in 2022.
