Kathy chose her words well. I really like Kathy. She comes across genuine, she's transparent, and a very likable person.

I'm not a big fan of Kathie Lee, but she responded to this so eloquently and professionally, I've gained quite a bit of respect for her.

What people need to understand is that some of us never liked Bruce Jenner therefore we may not like Caitlyn either but it doesn't have to do with gender, it has to do with personality. Not liking her doesn't mean you're automatically transphobic-that's a separate issue.

Kathie Lee was just being honest. She and Frank used to go on vacations with Bruce and Kris including a Caribbean yacht trip together. She would comment on the show about how in love and affectionate her friends were with each other. Now everyone has to adjust to Caitlyn. It could not have been easy at first.

I agree with them. It is a huge adjustment for anyone who grew up with "iconic" Bruce, and even more so for those who knew him. As much as people say they want to be accepting, it isn't just flipping a switch. The person you knew is gone...and yet still there, as someone else. They're themselves, but not. Supportive, yes. Easy? There's no way in hell.
