Rainbow Girls, I am a 65 years old teenagers that still recalls your songs selections that takes me back to the Era of Peace and Love while waiting for my Draft Card to arrive sending me to Vietnam.

This song came on in a bar I was in last month, reminding me of following my dad around the country playing in bars every weekend. I was the cutest wee roadie in Ireland! These days you wouldn't bring your kid to a pub so late. Anyway my dad used to sing this song, and later in the car moan about the drunken disinterested people he had to sing to. Years later that became my life too. You take the good nights with the bad nights. Anyway how coincidental that the Rainbow Girls covered the song at the same time I was going through all this nostalgia!

I grew up in Lodi. I was fortunate enough to see CCR in concert back in the day, love your version too. I escaped Lodi and have lived Happily Ever After in Portland for 30+ years, never looked back.
