When I first heard this in 2005 i knew what was up. Really set the tone of the newness for KH2

The Twilight Thorn is such a cool looking first boss for a game and the song just makes it all the more better.
-
The ever present snare is the original versions is what makes it so intense for me. Its seems the remixes tried to pack as many instruments as possible in. Simplicity is sometimes better.

This song really made that particular boss fight stand out.

"до конца аука 11 минут, на первом месте Хезерс..."

Something about the og kh2 music just does it for me.
-
Always loved this version better. The remix songs are cool but these are better
-
The whole start just give me chills, the good kind.
-
this is the best version in my opinion
-
Man why can't this theme be in Smash Ultimate like come on this music is really the best theme to battle in the game.

When I first played Kingdom Hearts II, I was just starting middle school. This and Dance to the Death were my favorite tracks. But haven't played it since then as I borrowed it from one of my cousins. When I finally revisited the game a few months ago through 1.5+2.5, I was actually confused because I remembered it sounding different. For some reason, it never crossed my mind that the soundtrack would be remixed for the remaster.

Sucks we never got more than just Twilight Thorn for giant Nobody boss battles. I know OrgXIII are nobodies but I'd rather fight cool monsters.

It is kinda shame that KH doesn't have more tracks like this. I know a lot of orchestral pieces have some intensive beats and all but this is somewhat more "raw" in its melody and intensivity. It resembles Yoko's work on some other brands (like boss theme from Legends of Mana). While her battle themes in KH series are good, they are perhaps too ambientic for my tastes. This also kinda juxtaposes Disney's more rounded thematic, which is plus.
