Today I decided to take a little detour back to the roots of the channel, and do a good ol' Antique Haul. We recently went to Brimfield Antique Fair and I grabbed some stuff for an upcoming home renovation project, and I wanted to show ya! So please enjoy my collection of old STUFF.
Love you!!

  • fun fact about the letterpress drawers: the top drawer would have the capital letters, and the bottom would have the small letters, which is why we now use the words "uppercase" and "lowercase" for letters ☺
  • You should display all of the old portraits in frames going up your stairs. Pretend they are ancient relatives and make up names and eccentric and odd personalities and crazy stories about things they did in life.
  • "Random stuff that makes me happy" is a perfectly valid 'theme' or aesthetic for a room. ❤

Now what we need is a Rachel paper doll set. Match bubble wrap dress with pumpkin head! Or disco mirror dress with frog boots… and pumpkin head!
  • Not Rachel talking about "Hearkening back to the channel's routes." Then wearing the exact same hat in the channel picture!

I've been watching this channel for so long, that when I say "I love you" to my hubby when I'm off to work, my brain automatically finishes with: "whether you're old or new to the channel. I upload every other Friday, and we have fun here." 😂😂😂
  • That old lady could never have imagined being viewed by 1000s and 1000s of people through video sent all over the world through wires and signals!
  • Omg that paper doll just transported me back to my childhood. Suddenly I am six years old, sitting on the scratchy yellowish carpet of my parents' living room which smells like dust and pipe tobacco, meticulously folding the little tabs over her delicate shoulders. That index/apothecary drawer thing -- SHO SHECKSHY And that gunnysack dress -- I'm sorry, you ARE Anne of Green Gables, I have diagnosed you, terminally adorable, there is no cure This was fun. Much as I love your make-stuff videos, it is nice to see a showcase of cool stuff now and again and just bask in the aesthetic. Have a lovely weekend <3
  • Oh, the references to Anne of Green Gables make me so happy! Love that series.
  • Once when I was younger I bought a snake's head cane from an antique store purely because it was AWESOME. And it brought me lots of joy 😊
  • @erikaavw
The “No I was just messing with ya” “ah-HeHH” interaction was just so incredibly cute and just goals🥹😂
  • RACHEL THAT GUNNE SAX DRESS IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!! The rest is really cool too, I love the portrait and the little chest of drawers
  • @ShanaH414
That Gunny Sack dress even has the puff sleeves that Anne would have wanted! ❤
  • Rachel is the perfect mic of enthusiasm and exhaustion we need for this moment in time. I'm glad she could take a break from the grueling labour to return to her roots in hoarding
  • As a near lifelong collector of paperdolls and a several year viewer of this channel, I cannot tell you what joy it brings me to finally see you bring paperdoll content to youtube. Trying on each outfit for us to admire while old timey music plays. Perfection.
  • I 100% have to send this to my new friend because the first time he came to my apt he said "You know, for all the alt goth teenage photos you showed me your decor has serious granny vibes" 😂❤👵
  • The nostalgia I just felt seeing the paper doll. ❤😂 I always accidentally ripped off those dang tabs.

I wanted to forever tell you this you so much ! You always reminded me of Anne Shirley.. I have quite a history with Anne of Green Gables as I’m originally from Prince Edward Island ,Canada the home of Lucy Maude Montgomery…. Xoxo. In my younger life i worked for a company that painted ceramic figures that looks like parts and pieces of the book …like when Anne was picked up at the railway station and on the trip home with Matthew. You look amazing and she’s one of my favourite characters ever ❤
