    Thanks for sharing and breaking down steering. Those high pressure can save your neck of the woods from hurricanes depending on where they are this time of year.

    Tropical systems rarely make landfall in Texas after the first week of October. Atmospheric conditions and wind patterns typically prevent Texas from getting hit by tropical systems around mid-October. Texas has nothing to worry about.
