happy final frieren friday 🥺 i'm gonna miss this so much but fingers crossed for a second season some of you have noticed that i took a break from youtube over the past 4-5 months, and for those of you who haven't followed my open musings on this over on twitch, i've been moving back to doing this "content creation" stuff just as a hobby rather than trying to make it work as a full-time gig. taking some time off helped me recenter and rediscover the reason i came to youtube in the first place—to sing, to perform, and to share helpful things wherever i could. following along with the frieren anime as i grappled with this decision was a major catalyst in this transformation. there's not a single ounce of me that regrets these past 3 years chasing what i thought was "the dream," and there's no regret either in putting it all down now. despite all the headaches and heartache (and some serious back pain), i'm grateful to have experienced this on my journey. as someone who's never really known what i want, i know it now more than ever before: i want to live every day thoughtfully, and joyfully, surrounded by the people i love most. and i hope you all find clarity and direction in your lives as well!

frieren was such a refreshing anime and a genre/style of storytelling that i didn't even know i was missing all this time but its literally probably in my top 3 animes of all time now

FROM THE OVER 200 SHOWS I HAVE WATCHED, FRIEREN IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES EVER, SO TO HEAR SUCH A DELIGHTFUL COVER OF THE MARVELOUS ED, MAKES ME WANNA CRY AS MUCH AS I DO WATCHING THE ANIME.
