From Christian Evangelist to Psychic New Age Spiritual Teacher

A couple of weeks ago, I created a video called Breaking Up With Doreen Virtue. In that video, I spoke about Doreen's transition from New Age to Christianity.

A lot of people commented on that video, including Christians. Many of them judged me and quoted scripture to me, but little did they know that had been a very devout Christian for most of my life. In fact, I was an evangelist, and often attended conferences and seminars on Apologetics which, ironically enough, is the defense of the Christian faith. In many of the apologetic classes, courses and seminars I attended, I learned about various different religions from a Christian view. I was also taught how to argue with people using scripture.

I had also developed a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and was heavily involved in various different ministries in my church. However, as time went by, something became deeply unsettling in my gut, and I decided to listen to my intuition, and figure out what I was missing.

In this video, I will (briefly) tell you about my Christian upbringing, and my experience as a Protestant Christian. I'll talk about why I left Christianity, how I stumbled onto this intriguing metaphysical path, and how Guiding Echoes got it's start.
