After meeting with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Washington, vice president Kamala Harris said she supports Israel's right to defend itself, but said 'how it does so matters'. Harris expressed concern over the 'devastating' humanitarian situation in Gaza and images of civilians killed in the conflict, saying 'we cannot look away in the face of these tragedies'. Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu met separately at the White House with president Joe Biden before his meeting with Harris to discuss the war in Gaza and the possibility of securing a cease-fire deal

All I hear was “please vote for me”
  • Since October she never cared about Gaza, suddenly now because she wants to become President she is playing both sides.
  • She was so hot on her figures until it came to the number of deaths Israel has caused, she has to be diplomatic, but please, call out this disgrace for what it is

First time she has spoken on the hostages in months!!
  • There will be a lot of these reading statements prepared for her from a teleprompter and then running for an exit before any questions can be asked.

very fair speech. You can't win by siding on either side. You have to side with human rights for both sides.

She's blind if she doesn't see the truth about the butcher of gaza 😂😂
  • She doesn’t fool me. Not one bit. My eyes are open and I see her evil side.

That "planting trees for Israel" has a bit of context needed: the planting of introduced tree species on land that was ethnically clensed is a bit like if historically there was a mechanism for raising money for Apartheid south Africa to boot off the original inhabitants and make national parks on their villiages in the name and for benefit of the colonisers.
  • If she's big on law and order then she must agree to follow the rulings of the ICC (International criminal court). Who have ruled Israel is acting illegally.

Gaza, West Bank, East Jerusalem, Lebanon, Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Iran have the right to defend themselves.
