Has A.I. Discovered Alien Life?

These signals came from 5 different stars, all within 90 light years of Earth.
One of them came from a G-type star, just like our own sun. Another one mysteriously stopped and reappeared 3 days later. And all were narrowband signals, which are rarely produced by natural sources.
While follow-up observations have not yet confirmed these signals, intensive further study is now underway – and this new machine learning approach to combing signal data could radically accelerate the search for alien intelligence.
It remains to be seen what these signals are. But this breakthrough suggests that the question of “are we alone?” may not be answered by us humans, but by our machines.
Special thanks to Franck Marchis for help with this video.

Our AI is contacting their AI: "did you get rid of your humans yet?" "Yeah we're just about to"

Humans: Are we alone? AI: Not anymore

To be fair, it was always going to be answered by our machines, it's not like we're just shouting into space hoping someone will shout back

It's human discovery. Machine learning is just our instrument.

What if their AI was just talking to our AI and they were just telling each other “Yeah, nah. Your beings do NOT need to meet my beings…” *covers digital face

It was about time that we used AI properly.

Radio signals only go as fast as the speed of light, so if we sent a radio signal to the nearest habitable star, which is 5 light years away, it would take 5 years to get to them, then another to get to us. Imagine trying to have a conversation with someone and having to wait that long in between transmissions
-
Imagine that the messages were from civilizations asking for help.
-
Imagine the AI getting hacked by these signals like they're malware. And the alien malware turn our AIs to help aliens conquer our planet like in the book "The Killing Star".
-
This is not about aliens, this is about data analysis on a whole new level.
-
What if A.I. just turns out to not want any drama whatsoever, and just seeks to make the whole universe friends? Helps us work out our differences, communicate with one another, and make merry.

Listen to them by all means but never ever respond back🥶
