I've fought these guys a lot solo with Ante Attack (+1 dmg but you have to hit the action command or 0 dmg) and Knight (+1 dmg but disabled Ball moves) Also, I would Ice Storm and Apple Pie first turn. Yoooo, now that's some skill, i was only able to beat these guys after i saved up enough to get defense+ and then just apple pie + dynamited them

i am probably not beating this until they improve sound cues or make animations more readable. Largely because i am too lazy to actually get good at games.

I recently did it, being the level where I could only gain xp from sentient statue, by using ante up + knight for damage (completely invalidates dynamite btw because power stab does the same damage with them).
