If you max out your determination you can parry with your bare hands.

since i am from austria and my first language is german i just thought "oh, so that's the names they use in the english version? a bit weird but okay".... then i realized i only play the english version myself. well done.

Wisdom needs a nerf. With 99 Wisdom I can parry an attack coming from Lothric Castle while I'm standing in Undead Settlement. Also If you run up and down the steps in Anor Londo 10 times whilst wearing the Anklets of the Wind, you can turn back time like Superman in Superman: The Movie and see Gwynevere's boobies in her chamber.
