Love it. Iā€™ve got a couple of ā€œcharacter logsā€ that Iā€™ve been reluctant to open up. As always, I learned a ton. Thanks Jeff.
  • Milling white cedar is the best. Smells great, rolls over easy and is light. We use cedar on our antique shingle mill... great stuff

Cool video Jeff. Too bad that first log turned out to be bad inside. Looked like it had lots of character. šŸ˜ŽšŸ‘
  • Hello Jeff That first log looked awesome...lots of character ! Probably was worth more whole than cut up !! LOL A few minutes of your life you won't get back....but just call it a fun experience and all is Good !!šŸ˜Š
  • Nice lumber. Glad you didnā€™t find any metal. I sawed a few cedar hydro poles before did you find it hard to saw ? Like dense hard?
  • That is one UGLY and UNHAPPY looking piece of wood. Although those first few cuts did make some nice plaque or sign boards.:face-purple-crying::face-purple-crying::face-purple-crying:
  • Was starting to think that first log would be a good mantle, but that didnā€™t turn out to be the case. But sometimes a person just needs to take a look.
  • That log is just about as ugly as me, and I'm that ugly ya couldn't draw me.
  • What kind of wood is that. It would need to have some mighty fine grain to make it worth cutting.
  • my guess it's has rutted out from the brain beetles any more questions you need to answer?
