My aunt Nell, (Ellen Mills) used to baby sit Maurice and my mum Joanie when they lived down the Elephant. She said he was a lovely little lad, always smiling and quite grown up for his age. Gawd bless all of them, so long ago now.

Michael Caine is not only a great actor, he's a great story teller, and a great human being. I could listen to him all night.

Michael Cain is a dying breed, A true super star and a interesting interviewee unlike today's dull and boring stars who have nothing significant or interesting say,
-
It will be a sad day when Michael Caine leaves this world.
-
What a privilege to watch, the man is a living legend.
-
What a first class interview. Both interviewer and interviewee. Wonderful
-
From 2002. OMG he's wonderful.
-
I admire his honesty and lack of of pomposity. What a decent chap.
-
One of the many things I've always loved about him is that he refused to change his accent to upper class British. He is himself.
-
This has got to be the Gold Standard for talk show interviews
-
Michael Caine has to be the greatest chat show guest ever.
-
If ever a man deserved a Knighthood,it’s this one. He is undoubtedly the best human being around.
-
One of the greatest interviews of all time...a true English Gentleman.
-
They dont make them like Michael Caine or Micheal Parkinson anymore .. Brilliant 💕💕💕😊
-
What an intelligent and delightful human being! You simply can't take away your eyes from him or stop listening to what he has to say. Mesmerizing!

while on patrol in Korea war surrounded by chinese soldiers"we literaly peed on ourselves out of fear"..what an honest man. ..and a great storyteller...and actor.

That was a triumph of the talk show. An interviewer more interested in his guest's input, and a guest at his ease as a raconteur to an audience who obviously love him. A jewel of an interview.
