PRAYER TO ST. MARIA GORETTI
O St. Maria Goretti who, strengthened by God’s grace, did not hesitate even at the age of 11 to shed your blood and sacrifice life itself to defend your virginal purity, look graciously on the unhappy human race which has strayed far from the path of eternal salvation.
Teach us all, and especially youth, with what courage and promptitude we should flee, for the love of JESUS, anything that could offend Him or stain our souls with sin.
Obtain for us from Our Lord victory in temptation, comfort in the sorrows of life, and the grace which we earnestly beg of Thee (mention intention), and may we one day enjoy with Thee the imperishable glory of Heaven. Amen. (Pray an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be.)

I am so grateful that Father is retelling this tragic but inspiring story, in an age where the young people of this world are being bombarded with evil, and inundated with false teachings about chastity, celibacy and abstinence. I know it will inspire people to be courageous in their pursuit of holiness, and strengthen them to call out to the Lord and All of the Saints to pray for the grace to remain pure, and to stay faithful and obedient to our good and loving God. Children and young people who are sexually assaulted by adults are not to feel guilty... it's never their fault and the sin is with the perpetrator. God in Jesus name, help little children and young people held in the prison of evil within their own families. It's a reality no one openly speaks of. Maria please pray for us 🙏🙏
