  • He built that thing live and with no breaks. Massive respect for building something that wasn't meant to be built in 1 sitting just to give us this review
  • The camera doesn’t do the scale of this justice. Remember seeing this in the Lego shop for the first time and couldn’t believe just how big it was. Still can’t 😂
  • @swerthers884
It's a wonderful set, but is so massive! My wife bought it for me for my birthday a couple of years ago, and was a fantastic build! I had to take it apart and store it as we have no space to display it and have had a baby. When he is old enough, I will get it out again and we will build it together!

The conversation you had with yourself about ‘why have I never appreciated the Falcon before this.’ Is a conversation I had with myself when I saw the Solo version with the gorgeous blue and white paneling. That was the first time I ever saw the Falcon and thought ‘I need one of those.’

What a ride this must have been! Don't think I will ever own a UCS Millennium Falcon (or any UCS set for that matter) but appreciate the review nonetheless. No Lego set feels right until Jang reviews it.
  • @DigitalVanquish
It truly is an amazing set. As a word of warning, the mandibles do sag a little bit. But it's due to plates loosening, as a result of weight, not the bars bending. So, I just pop the front-mid section off, and press the plates back into place, and squeeze the mandibles, every so often. I have it displayed on all feet – parallel to the table – for reference.

Fun Fact: This Falcon is not based on any version seen the films. So there were two main filming models in the OT. A 5 foot model and a 32 inch model. They are quite different from each other And for a few added shots for the Special Editions a CGI model was made based mainly of the 32 inch model with a few details from the 5 foot model. There's an additional version of this CGI model that was not used in the film that used in promo photos and was used in many of the refrence book instead. It's version that LEGO used based this on. It has one big detail that does not exsit on any other versions. And that is that dark grey swath on the left mandible. That's why there is those extra bits for the mandibles. The Sequel Falcon is based on the 5 foot model, so those extra bits are replicating look of the 5 foot model. Since that Specail Edition Falcon was largely based on the 32 inch model, particularly the front.
  • Wow, I'm glad you did the review because this is the first time I've seen anything about the potential sagging. Most other reviews have been basically all praise but this is the most honest review of the set I've seen. Thanks for doing this Jang, even if it's almost a half decade late!

A review forty-plus hours in the making. This is a day that will be long remembered.
  • @MLBReviews
It makes you feel like a little kid again, and that’s the magic of LEGO - congrats JANG!

I love mine so much. Bought it August 2021 after saving for months at my first job and now its vertically displayed in an acrylic display case. Probably my most prized possession at this point bc i never dreamed I'd ever get it
  • @igotin9264
I can't believe staying off watching ANY UCS Falcon reviews has finally paid off all these years later. :D Great work as always, Jang!
  • @thebaker525
That sticker tunnel detail, I don’t know why, but it feels like such an older System thing, something you’d see on a set from 1999. I really like it.
  • @xeron_7433
An absolute monolithic set, though I'm not much of a Star Wars fan I can still appreciate this sets sheer scale and level of detail. Glad to have been able to catch the stream when this was being built and I'm a bit sad to know you have to take it apart on stream too. Great review as always, Jang!
  • @MajDuty
I know you made your promise but I see your desire to want to keep it and I for one will have zero problem with you breaking any promise to dismantle it. You've given us enough we can give that back to you
  • @davidfisher5507
The first and only review I'll watch on the UCS Falcon. I'll never own it or build it but I thoroughly enjoyed watching your review and listening to your enthusiasm for it. Thank you for finally finding the space and time for the ultimate review of the ultimate set.
