Who’s here after the casting announcement 👀🤩
  • @TheDrexLord
The fact that you called the superman actor before the film even was announced is insane
  • @pizzaninja5194
I agree. I want a superman that feels like superman to me. Someone who's believes in humanity and that it can be good. That's why I love superman man of tomorrow so much
  • @maxalaintwo3578
Your segment on making Metropolis alive and a character in and of itself is so powerful. Everyone thinks about this for Gotham, but Metropolis never gets the same treatment
  • @nont18411
There are too much “Evil Superman” that it’s harder to find a media with good Superman these days.
  • @natek4488
It's absolutely insane that ordinary fans are more understanding of the source material than the 'professionals' at Hollywood
  • Here's one specific thing I want from an actor playing Superman: someone who can play both Superman AND Clark Kent as completely distinct characters. Cause the whole shtick that makes Clark's disguise work isn't just a pair of glasses, it's his attitude, his demeanor, the way he slouches, the way he does his hair, wears slightly over-sized clothes to make himself look stocky instead of muscular, etc.
  • One major rule is not messing with the basics. Hopeful , Clark Kent character, real arc nemesis, respect for supporting characters , good photo shots. ... And definitely no evil Superman bait.

Its as simple as making Superman as human as possible. Watching the newest Death of Superman movie was actually what made me change my mind about the character after hating him for a long time. Of the big 3, Superman Batman and Wonder woman, Superman by far is the most human. Lex Luthor once hatched a plan to have Clark think Lois was divorcing him and that heartbreak almost took him out of commission entirely. Batman wouldn't give a shit about that, Wonder woman would shrug that off, but Clark is too human for that. He's fully bought into the human experience because he IS human in every way but biology. He doesn't have to pretend, he's not a God playing human. He's just a guy who can do extraordinary things and was raised right. He's a simple character from the ground up and that simplicity is where the genius lies.

I don't think Warner Bros going to make a Superman movie anytime soon which is sad but I like your take on it really understand Superman
  • @Bat-Gos
We all won, David is officially Superman now!
  • @tvcrazyman
You have a lot of good points. I think you have a good understanding of Superman's character. Sometimes, I think why writers have a hard time with Superman is because they don't really like Superman's character. They seem to have an issue with a idealized small town mentality that Superman should have to be true to his character.

Congratulations, you're a prophet. David Corenswet has been casted as Superman in Superman: Legacy!
  • @LP3Customs
You could've used footage of Braniac from the Krypton show. Braniac, Lobo, and Doomsday looked perfect on that show
  • @FiggityJones
Man I’d love they follow this blueprint. Honestly feels like it should be so easy to get right. Apart from a few aesthetic disagreements in the costume department which I assume were only used for the sake of ease in making this video, its honestly perfect. Also blew my mind with Goodman as Perry White casting. Like it felt so obvious after you said it and I just never thought about it. Feel like I’m over using the word perfect here, but it really would be perfect casting. One day. If Superman has taught me anything, its that I can hope, and I choose to hold onto the hope that one day we will get another good and uplifting Superman film.
  • It’s been a year since you made this video and suggested David Corenswet to play Superman, and a year later he’s a leading contender for Superman Legacy (2025). 👏 Well done Super Frame.👏
  • Came back here after the news that David Corenswet will be the new Superman in James Gunn's "Superman Legacy" movie.
  • Came back to this because I was sure he casted the same guy who’s gonna play Superman in James Gunns movie, well done
