Transforming Simon into that red haired Anime guy was such a mistake. I'm so glad Sakurai decided to use the original Simon Belmont for Smash Ultimate.

Conan style simon is always my internalized in canon look for him. Though I don't mind his later red haired Ayami Kojima look, Blonde Simon seems to know what is best in life.

People really out here calling og simon generic...but what other video game character has an iconic barbaric design like him? For me the red haired simon looks far more generic if anything.

I didn’t know who Simon Belmont was when people were requesting him during the Brawl days, the first Castlevania I played was 4 on the SNES Classic and then I officially became a Castlevania fan.

Honestly, I don't get the more recent Castlevania designs. The old ones fit so much more with the whole European focus than the generic Anime design they have now. I mean, doesn't it make more sense to have a more western art style for something that takes place almost exclusively in Western countries?
