el mocambo friday nite .. fall of 1980 or winter of 81 .. special brew was just released .. dutchy and band were in their prime and played and sounded great .. dutchy was in the nightclub upstairs, buddy and the boys were downstairs in the tavern .. the entire venue was pretty much overtaken by maritimers .. up and down the stairs all night .. ho boy was it fun ...... will never forget how much fun it was ...

Never heard of this dude but I do believe the likes of Paul Butterfield and the J Geils Band harmonica player -- would love knowing this guy. Great blues approach, fiery harmonica, deep vocals and slinky melodic guitar interplay. Very well recorded. I will definitely look for more tunes by Dutch -- he's authentic.
