Got any suggestions on where I should go next? Let me know!!!

Welcome to iTripReport's flight reviews, which I focus on reviewing both the soft product and hard product of airlines around the globe. I strive to give you guys a first person perspective of different aspects of the flight. Including the ground service, onboard service, and those views that come with the flight. As you can see, I record quite a lot of the experience to make sure I record what you want to watch. As always, thank you so much for watching.

I just flew EWR-MXP-EWR a few weeks ago, UA 772ER. My seat on the segment to Milan was in economy, and it was terrible. I am quite tall and large, so I was nearly crippled by the time I reached Malpensa. To my pleasant surprise, United emailed me with an offer to upgrade to Premium Plus for an additional $225. It was marvelous! The food and service were marginally better, and the seat was infinitely better. I will never return to economy, which I suppose is their business strategy: give the customer a taste a luxury and they will always come back!

Great report! Having recently flown with UA in both PP and Polaris, I think Polaris is really only worth it for overnight flights. The flat bed and bedding makes a big difference on long overnight sectors but for a daytime transcon, hard to justify the extra cost when the service level is so similar.

I flew PP on the 767-300 EWR-LAX last month and it was PHENOMENAL! Having full meals and unlimited alcohol are a plus, as Alaska DL, jetblue, & AA only give snacks in premium economy on their transcons.

Thanks for making it clear EWR is NOT New York. I got into it with a YouTube who I think is from London or one of those places. Every time he flies into Newark he keeps calling it New York. The airport is literally in New Jersey.. like wtf. So cuddos to you. That’s why I live your vids man. Entertaining and accurate.
  • 5:54 - 6:19 Wow, now THAT'S how you travel transcon! Definitely would like to try out United's Premium Plus at some point

Love the sound of the GE90’s spool up👌🏻🛩
  • It's interesting that they played Dancing Queen on board during the boarding process.

I am taking this class next month from EWR to BRU . Super excited about it !Excellent review!!

Loved your video! Takeoff was quiet from your seating over the wing too. It’s nice to see the seating layout, esp economy versus the plus and premium seats 💺 to get an idea for those long haul flights. I’ve not flown United in a long time so I’m looking forward to the experience.

Love it! Jealous of you hearing that beautiful United Safety video so often! Great video as always, sing view is unmatched!!

Thank you for sharing your trip here. Yes, it is always nice to have Premium Economy when you can not have Polaris First/Business Class. That first section is nice to give you more leg room.

I've flown United's Polaris 777-300ER on a short 2 and a half hour flight. Very nice seat, godo food too. We're looking at taking our next holiday, which I'm hoping is to the UK as I've some friends that I'd like to see with the world opening back up. Business is outside of our price range, and with my partner being on the taller side, I've been looking at premium economy offerings. Our local airport is served only by American/United. Further airport we have more choices, but the cost is the same. So far, United has been the cheapest offering to get to LHR, by several hundred dollars. And this review will help make my decision, thank you!

Great trip report. I'm flying their Polaris next week on the B777-300ER, definitely looking forward to it
  • @Raul-yj9ic
Thank you for doing this! This is the exact seat I have and taking the same exact route! Couldn't be a better video for me lol I know exactly what to expect now.
  • Yes I have I was just behind buisness from LHR to chicago onto salt lake premium loved it an return
  • Aeronave top, robusta, silenciosa, ótimo serviço de bordo, confortável. Parabéns pelo vídeo... 👏🏿🤝🏿

KEWR/EWR is a pretty nice airport, good views of NYC and nice for plane spotting. One funny thing that happened on the Airtrain was I forgot how quick it accelerated, and nearly fell on somebody. There’s also nice views on the approach and departure. And the United Club Lounge is nice, it’s big and has nice views of the ramps. However I believe I was at the other United Club Lounge
  • Great job. I’ve flown on United 777-200 in both the old business class and Polaris. I’d still would love to try Premium Plus!
