Silly Billy also benefits from a massive lack in original in-universe characters these days, when most mods utilize either already existing creepypastas, characters or creations from or undeniably connected to an existing franchise. The spike in popularity of FNF modding peaked with Witty and similar fan-made creations that played a role in the FNF universe, in one way or another. It was still about the world of FNF in general, so the entire mod wasn't just hinged on the production quality but more on the creative aspect of world-building too.

To those who are curious: The part in the video that got cut out was that the creator of this mod made a cover of a song called Doomsday. The voice he used was of a streamer who self terminated on stream, and the mod that was mimics those final moments of that streamer.

Fun fact: the original twiddlefinger animation was a fan animation, and the team was so impressed that they enlisted the animator to tweak it a bit and make it official

Fun Fact: Shucks is actually going to be in a mod. It's going to be called SML Movie: Resurgence. I'm currently in the discord and they changed Marvin's chromatics (for the better) and they also changed the lyrics. The current team wants absolutely nothing to do with "PigMango" and the mod actually has a GameBanana page which showcases progress. It's not only going to be Shucks, of course. Just thought I should point out that Shucks is not dead

The fact that Max Design Pro accidentally & entirely indirectly had a hand in bringing out a positive outcome to all of this is really fucking beautiful for some reason

max design pro actually has a lot more community interaction! he obviously replies to comments and adds fanart to the videos, but also he posts fanart on his story every day, had an art contest for smaller artists to design his new banner for 10 million subscribers, and recently he joined the mdp fan server and did a little qna with everyone! he's currently letting his community decide on one of the characters names too! he's really sweet and its obvious he's very grateful and happy for his community : ]

fun fact: the max design pro twiddlefinger mod became so popular that max himself played the mod and loved it, he uses it sometimes and now the evil max is canon

things not mentioned in this video: 1) the character faced in Silly Billy, "Yourself", is the creation of a deceased member of the FNF community, Divide, who had worked on the Sonic.EXE mod (if I remember correctly, Yourself was meant to be in the mod, as well). it's assumed to be one of the other reasons for the song's sudden hit, though it's also just a wonderful tribute to a beloved member of our community. 2) "Shuck" is actually being reused in another FNF Jeffy mod, so there will be a definitive version of it (though if something changed about that, I'm completely unaware of it)

Heavily active member of the MDP community here, lotta cool stuff about the whole aftermath of Twiddlefinger people outside of the community would’ve missed out on! Max Design Pro actually joined the fan server the other day and did a QnA with us while he reached 10mil. Like straight up we all watched his counter reach 10mil while we asked him stuff, it was awesome. Lotta notable people in the community were there too, including Gibz! To give some insight on things Max is now working on -Merch is in the works, he’ll give updates when that’s ready -Gibz outright asked Max to dm them so they could give him a full reference for Twiddlefinger to use, no joke. So to anyone wondering, yeah the team is chill about all this and are happy for Max’s channel growth -Max is interested in making longer videos that tell bigger stories and show off his character’s personalities more -Someone asked him if he knew what Story of Undertale was and his response was “I can’t say much on this topic.” That’s not something super important it’s just really funny to me Max also revealed his own discord today which is partnered with the fan server! His discord isn’t for chatting, more so sharing announcements and showing off cool fan work he finds. He’s also started sharing fanart on his instagram stories, he really likes the fanart yall bdjsbbx On the whole the whole sudden growth in community has really led to him starting to improve his channel, and he’s a lot more active with the community directly than one would assume. He also hasn’t used a cameo character since the channel blew up more, and is even bringing back old original characters fans wanted to see again like Hope and Angus On the whole the mod has really positively effected the channel and has not only led to one of the best communities I’ve ever been in but growth of his content as well. It’s honestly really sick to see

25:11 Fun Fact: The person who had done the animation for this segment, F4ky's Basement, actually wasn't apart of the team at first. They made a fan animation of the lyrical section of Twiddlefinger, which was released on YouTube at the time of the animation. The team then got them to work on the official mod and make the official lyrical segment animation. Another Fun Fact: The Twiddlefinger that was used in the fan animation was actually an old version of the song. It was basically the same instrumental wise, but the main difference is the lyrical segment. While the lyrics are the same, it sounds almost completely different from the new version. It's like the new version but without any of the effects on the new version. This old version was removed and replaced with the new version on Maxprolover's channel, but it still can be heard in some unofficial mods made before the official version released.

Actually silly billy was dedicated to a guy who was a modded or he worked on fnf. He actually died in his sleep, which is what I heard.The song lyrics actually are dedicated to the fact that he wanted to finish what he started but couldn’t since he died. “I’ll make you say how proud you are of me” is shown that no one probably believed in him while he was making his mod. “So stay awake just long enough to see my way” is I’m reference to how he died in his sleep. Even though it is an fnf mod, it’s very sad to know why they really made this. All this I read off of someone’s post on YouTube lol. Hopefully it’s correct
