What is True Plasma and why is it important for skin care professionals to consider when offering plasma fibroblast

With True Plasma Technology, we are sending that plasma energy into the epidermis while not affecting the dermis at all. We are not burning the surface of the skin like electric pens do. That true plasma energy is sent into the skin to produce new collagen in the treatment area and the areas that closely surround it.

How to distinguish a true plasma pen from an electric pen?

A true plasma pen will have a purple spark that is expelled from the tip of the pen and not a white or yellow spark like electric pens. With True Plasma, you will notice the smell of ozone and most importantly, there are white dots left behind with a tiny pinprick of black in the center which is carbon being created inside the epidermis. Electric pens will burn the skin and leave black or brown burn marks behind. In the days that follow the treatment, these burn marks will turn into scabs and make for a very uncomfortable recovery experience for your client. A True Plasma treatment should not form scabs during the recovery phase, you will see the carbon rising to the surface but it's important to note, that this is different from the scabs an electric pen will cause.

Are the techniques different with a True Plasma pen?

Yes, since the Plaxel is not burning the skin like electric pens the techniques will be different because the goal is to avoid burning the skin. When performing a lift, you should cover the area and make sure there's a tiny pinprick of black in the center. It's very important to know what these dots are supposed to look like. You don't want to see too much black because that's when you know you're starting to create a burn on the surface which is never the goal when performing plasma. You also don't want to see too little black because you want to make sure that you're creating that carbon crusting on the inside of the skin which happens when the cells are sublimated.

What benefits will you see performing True Plasma treatments as opposed to offering treatments with an electric

The benefits we've seen since the implementation of this new technology and comparing devices side by side is better recovery due to not burning the skin, enhance results, and overall just a much safer technology to offer your clients. The PLAXEL Plasma Pen was upgraded to True Plasma in September 2019 and remains one of the only devices on the market to offer this new True Plasma technology.
